FAQ

Shipping & Returns

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated at checkout depending on your location and the weight of the items. All orders over $75 qualify for free shipping.

How long will my order take to ship?

We try to ship every order within 3 business days of receiving it.

Do you offer international shipping?

No, sorry! Currently we only ship within the United States, though we hope to expand this soon.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns on undamaged items purchased within the last 30 days. After we receive the item back, we will issue a refund to your payment method. We don’t charge a restocking fee, but do ask that you pay for return shipping. However, if you received a damaged or defective item, even if it has been more than 30 days, please take photos and let us know and we will be happy to replace or refund your order at no cost to you.

If you have a horn that has broken, please take a photo and get in touch with us.

If you are in any way unhappy with your item, please reach out and let us know how we can fix it!

How do I initiate a return?

Please email us to get started with your return.

At checkout I see that my order is carbon-neutral - what does that mean?

The Haus of Brimstone website runs on Shopify, which partners with organizations working to extract and sequester carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to offset the carbon footprint of deliveries. We are using Shopify’s Pioneer and Decade plans for this offset, which means that Haus of Brimstone pays for the cost of the carbon neutralization instead of passing that cost onto you. It also means that we have chosen to support nature-based solutions, such as reviving ranchlands and pasturelands, rather than engineered solutions. We chose nature-based solutions because our research gave us the most confidence in the specific companies and methodologies that are included in this plan.

Using Your Horns

How do the horns attach to my head?

Each horn has a threaded insert at its base and comes with a matching screw, which can then be used with any of our attachments (though we recommend larger horns like our Azazel and Tiefling models be used with headbands.)

If you would rather attach the horns directly to your forehead with our temple tape or another skin adhesive, you can do that as well.

Since the screw is removable and the attachments are interchangeable, you can use your single set of horns in many different ways. We are always developing new attachments for you to use, so please let us know if you have any special requests!

Can I use my own barrette clips?

Our barrette clips have a hole that the screw must go through for them to work with the horns, so you would need to be able to punch a hole in your own clips to use them. Luckily, your first pair of barrettes is free with your horns!

I lost a screw. What size screw will fit into your horns?

The horns use a #10-32 screw. We use a 1/2” long screw, but this is flexible for most of our horns because the threaded insert is open inside the horn. If you email us we can send you replacement screws; just let us know what type of attachment you are using so we send the correct screws.

How do the hellcrow discs work?

The hellcrow discs add a little bit of extra grip when added to our barrettes or headbands. The gentle hook-and-loop material, sometimes used for hair styling, softly grabs onto your hair and helps your horns stay in place. They are best used if you have fine to very fine hair - if you have thick curly hair, they will be unnecessary (and also probably difficult to remove!)

How do I clean my horns?

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. The hardware is water resistant, so you don’t need to worry if you accidentally get the hardware wet, as long as you let it fully dry before re-inserting the screw into the insert. Please make sure the screw does not sit inside the horn while wet, as some corrosion might occur.

What are the horns made of?

Our horns are 3D-printed from resin and individually hand painted. Resin SLA printing allows us to preserve the tiny details in our textured models and achieve beautifully smooth surfaces in our untextured models.

Great question. Read all about us on our About Us page!

Nope! We make our products on site and ship them directly to you from our Central Texas location.

Don’t worry! While most Haus of Brimstone horns are created from models unique to us, others are created using models purchased from non-exclusive artists.
