Mini Sulfur Bottle
Mini Sulfur Bottle
Hell in a tiny jar!
This wee cork-stoppered bottle of recrystallized sulfur is a miniature tribute to hellfire. The bottle is 3 cm (1.18") tall without the stopper and 2 cm (0.79") in diameter at its base.
Sulfur is often called “brimstone,” which literally means “burning stone,” from Middle English “brennen,” to burn.
In witchcraft, sulfur is associated with fire and the active divine masculine, as well as the Sun and Jupiter. It is traditionally used for crossing, hexing, jinxing, and banishing; and conversely, uncrossing, hex breaking, unjinxing, and protection.
In the Bible, sulfur is associated with divine retribution. It rained down on Sodom and Gomorrah, was exhaled with fire and smoke by the horses of the apocalypse, and burned in a fiery lake where the devil, death and other divine adversaries were thrown. Through these references and an association with volcanoes and the underground, sulfur became associated with hell, Satan, and demons.
So, clearly, it’s a must have.
On your altar, use sulfur in the south to represent fire, in a banishing spell, or to declare your satanic sovereignty!
Please note the dimensions of the bottle carefully, as it is smaller than it appears in the pictures. You will ask yourself if this is a bottle for ants. This tiny size makes it alarmingly adorable.
Note: Please be very careful with your sulfur. Do not light sulfur on fire, as burning sulfur creates sulfur dioxide and sulfur trioxide gasses, which are toxic to breathe. Sulfur is quite combustible and carries a risk of fire and explosion; dust suspended in the air can ignite easily. Remember that sulfur is an ingredient in gunpowder and may explode if mixed with other chemicals!
Warning! Flammable solid. May be harmful if swallowed. Emits highly toxic fumes when burned. Dust ignites easily. May irritate skin and eyes.
Novelty item only.
