Written Instructions

Barrette Clips

Note that your horns will usually ship with the barrette clips attached, so you can skip the attachment instructions if you like.

You will need:

  •  Our clip set, which includes:
  • 2 barrette clips
  • 2 screws
  • 2 silicone washers

  • A screwdriver (flathead or phillips) or a coin
  • A mirror
  • Your horns!

How to attach:

  1. Slide the silicone washer on the screw.
  2. Slide the barrette clip onto the screw with the inner/concave side touching the washer.
  3. Loosely screw the horn on by holding the barrette clip still and rotating the horn.
  4. Once the screw is almost tightened, adjust the orientation of the horn to suit your style, then finish tightening the screw with a screwdriver or coin.
  5. Repeat for the other horn!

Tips for wearing:

For fine hair:

  • Place your horns higher up on your head than you intend to wear them, as they often shift down a bit after closing the clips
  • Consider adding Hellcrow discs to help keep the horns in place
  • You can also use bobby pins in an X shape on top of the barrettes to lock down the placement even further
  • For extra grip on ultra fine hair, you can try teasing your hair slightly

For tangles:

  • Make sure you are using the silicone washer between the barrette and the screw as this helps keep your hair from getting tangled in the screw.
  • When removing, open and close the barrette several times as you gently slide it out of your hair, to prevent your hair from getting caught in the space between the open barrette and the edge of the horn.
